Another great piece...I do appreciate that I now have a place I can go too to keep me aware of the crisis we see in the Middle East as well as the growing antisemitism against the Jewish population which is happening globally.

On Oct 7th I became a "born again Jew" in the sense that finally I felt my ancestors ghosts and this deep connection to Israel, which I had never felt before. I was brought up by two progressive parents, both Ashkenazi Jews, but dad was an atheist and mom tried her hardest by always cooking on Jewish holidays. That was the extent of my Jewish upbringing but like they say, better late than never.
