I also agree that there was never an intent to release hostages and there was thus never 'a deal'. We have been chasing a mirage. Hamas, Hezbollah, the famous spider web speech - they want to destory ISrael from within. BTW - they didnt come up with the idea. It's Iran and also Russia - they can't attack the western world to set a new order. they will destroy it from within using democaracy and freedom of speech. All arenas are linked to the same source. This Iranian tactic, of “Divide and Conquer from Within”, is on full display in the document IDF found (Bibi showed in his press conference too).
It is a tactic that, sadly has proven effective since our 2nd Temple fell from Sinat Chinam that was already at levels they are close to now.
Israel can only defeat its enemies when we publicly show a united front.
